Tennis Fitness & Training Camp


There will be two sessions for this camp (morning/afternoon).  We will divide up the participants into equal sized groups (girls & boys if numbers work out) to balance the individual instruction you receive.  You will be contacted by Boys Coach Chris Burns via email to confirm which session you will be in and what time to report.  All participants will meet at the end of the day for a final group session.  If there are questions, please contact Coach Burns at

What To Bring: Tennis racket, water bottle, sunscreen, & court shoes
(energy snacks will be provided)

M.O.R.R. Training
(Movement, Overspeed, Resistance, Reaction)
Morning- Group #1
Dynamic warm-ups
Resisted lower body/contrast drills
Resisted upper body/contrast drills
BREAK-Lunch (30-60 min)
Dynamic warm-ups
Overspeed upper
Overspeed lower
Afternoon- Group #2 w/ same schedule
End of afternoon both groups come together for:
1. miscellaneous and advanced techniques
2. plyometrics
3. questions/comment
